Residency Program Curriculum
Gracelight’s Family Medicine Residency Program provides a well-rounded, three-year training program that will equip providers with the skills and real-world experience to serve patients in both in-patient and out-patient settings with the knowledge to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. Additionally, our program provides opportunities for residents to pursue fellowship training and receive certifications of added qualifications.
Foundations of Medicine
Our residency program’s foundation is based on the principles of lifestyle and functional medicine. Our program faculty are trained and practice medicine to address lifestyle-based management and interventions. Our focus is on educating residents in helping patients foster health lifestyles, addressing the root causes of disease and placing a greater emphasis on prevention of health ailments rather than just treating patient symptoms.
Areas of Concentration
While our program focuses on family medicine, we provide residents with the flexibility to learn different areas of medicine through electives that cover a wide range of specialties. Each resident is assigned a designated mentor in their preferred area of concentration and is awarded a certificate in this field upon their graduation.
